I’m happy with this one. It was an attempt at doing the whole of the line work on paper, using digital only for the colors.

It was really fun to make but also quite satisfying to once again make a complete drawing without the option to ctrl-z.

That being said, the illustration is comprised of quite a few layers. The visual effects are on a sheet of paper of their own, as is the character, and the “pod” she’s in.

Looking forward to making more complete illustrations this year, rather than isolated character designs.
