An illustrated book project

Kiki is a short story about the eponymous character and her house on a hill, gradually becoming engulfed in nature.

Her friends try to convince her to tame that overflowing vegetation but Kiki is so intent on treating it as a shared space that her friends eventually give up on the idea, letting her house become overridden with animals, insects, trees and grass, to Kiki’s delight.

It is a simple fable on our shared existence with the rest of nature, as well as a celebration for self-determination and refusal of norms, as a way to enrich enveryone’s world, as Kiki’s friends do not simply leave her, they learn to appreciate her unique perspective and enjoy her way of life.
